Thompson First Group is seeking Senior Accountant for a temporary to hire opportunity for a local client in Dover, DE.
Candidates with a background working as aSenior Accountant and has experience with Fixed Assets, Financial Analysis and Financial Statement Preparation.
Description of Duties/Responsibilities
The Accountant reconciles general ledger accounts, prepares journal entries, maintains subsidiary ledgers, generates and reviews reports, and assists the controller as necessary.To be considered for this position you:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
Must be familiar with accounting software and spreadsheets
Must be knowledgeable with interpreting and applying GAAP
Must be able to communicate clearly both written and orallyPreferred candidates will:
Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Have two (2) years of experience maintaining general ledger accounts for a hospital
Be knowledgeable with operating and maintaining Star and using Excel
