Thompson First Group is seeking a Program Manager for a local client in Aston, PA.
Candidates with experience managing military or commercial programs in a manufacturing environment, proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and the Microsoft Office suite, and strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
Three (3) years of experience as a Program Manager in a manufacturing environment
Three years of experience in steel and aluminum sheet metal manufacturing required
Experience with quality systems including ISO9001, APQP, PDCA (A3), and other industry wide standards
Proven experience in program management, stakeholder management, and managing a cross-functional team
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field of study
Responsibilities
The Program Manager will primarily be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to execute new product development programs and other significant capital projects and machine installations related to manufacturing operations, within time and budget
Develop manufacturing program plans, and outline strategy, scope, schedule, resource requirements, and cost targets. Work collaboratively with manufacturing engineering and cross-functional teams to drive the manufacturing teams toward the plan
Manage project roadmap to align with the framework of the overall program. Create, maintain, communicate, and present schedules for projects to the engineering leadership team
Define and drive tasks to be performed by the cross-functional team. Prioritize team project work based on schedule, risk, resources, and payback. Track deliverables, project status, and action items against the schedule
Drive continuous improvement projects to execution, such as modifications needed to equipment by working with internal teams and equipment vendors
Continuously develop and adapt processes and methodologies to the team’s needs
