Thompson First Group is seeking a Production Worker - Mechanical Assembler for a temporary to hire opportunity for a local client in Aston, PA.
Candidates that have a background working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing setting are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Produce products by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Experience and proficiency working with hand and power tools
Have a basic understanding of blueprints,
Certifications in forklift driving and/or blueprint reading would be pluses.
Perform various mechanical assemblies and sub assemblies.
Assembly/disassembly of components, inspection, and loading parts.
Use general hand tools and power tools
Use measuring equipment such as tape measures
Following production guidelines and specifications.
Ability to interpret schematic plans and/or blueprints.
Following health and safety standards.
Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
Assembling products and parts.
Following production guidelines and specifications.
Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.
Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.
Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products.
Working on the production line and meeting production targets.
Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
Performing other tasks as assigned.
